It's not as big as Union Square in NYC or Santa Monica farmers markets, but it's definitely the hottest ticket on a summer Saturday morning in Ta~os. Personally, I'm a big fan of the microgreens...

Busy family friendly ... Affordable to pricy, wear sunscreen, layers, and bring cash for cash only vendors... Yes that is still a thing. Start first thing in the morning around 9, grab something to eat and drink, (dirty yet public restrooms in center of square). Wonder around early to decide where to check out at opening time and admire all the corners and wonders of the main historic district before it gets packed by 11.

Great experience! I love the fresh veggies, flowers, bakes, etc. Lovely live music. Make sure you bring cash because some vendors don't accept cards.
