  • Beach, wildlife, kite surfing, boating, fishing, a short drive from home...what else could you possibly need for a relaxing day on the sun. There is a $5 parking fee for access to all of these things, which is well worth it. There is a main park section you arrive at, then follow a short causeway to the beach area. My wife and I both had a great day there which exceeded our expectations. I fished while my wife relaxed on the white sand beach. After fishing I joined here for some beach time. Before we left, we spent at least a half hour just watching all the kite surfers along the causeway.
  • Lovely area. Nice park with lots of shade. The beach is an island with a one-mile causeway to get there. Crystal clear water and mostly sandy beaches on the ocean side. Trees and bushes also on the island providing shade. Two bathrooms, but no changing rooms. Also no food stands, so bring food and beverages with you.
