  • What a great museum with a great history! Many familiar items and many new to me. Great example of what a community can accomplish. Then go see the Loop!  more »

  • A cool place to visit and check out the railroad history in Tehachapi. There is a lot of cool train memorabilia and is run by friendly and helpful railfans who love to share their stories. Definitely worth the visit for any rail fan, young or old. If you're luck, a train may come by and allow you to experience it up close and personal
  • Fun, quaint, little town America, railroad museum, free. Interesting technology from back in the day. Mechanical things that don't need sophisticated electronics or even electrons at all, to work. Amazing engineering feats from our forefathers. Humans can be amazing. Good for kids once they put down their phone. Take the tour with the guide, many insights you will miss otherwise.
