A sanctuary for captive-born animals, Wolf Haven International offers educational programs and guided visits. This hands-off sanctuary provides shelter without socializing with the wolves--this means that there's no physical contact between the animals and visitors or caretakers. Visits are by reservation only and include a tour of the public section, where you'll potentially be able to see several wolfs in a natural and serene environment. Please visit the website to learn about booking options and sanctuary etiquette. • I loved the wolves, but I did not like how long it took to go a small loop to see the wolves. The guide took an hour and a half to take us through that loop when it could've been done in maybe 45 minutes. It became something boring. However, the wolves were amazingly beautiful so 5 stars for the wolves and the work people are doing there!
  • I now have a better understanding of wolves. It was snowing today during our tour which is perfect wolf weather. Our group were able to see all the wolves. The tour guide and volunteer staff were great! Thank you.
