Terre Haute Childrens Museum reviews
What a great place for learning in the heart of Terre Haute! They have a cute little gift shop, and multiple floors of hands-on activities. more »
The place looks something hidden and were plenty to do. It was clean, excellent staff. Spent about 2 hours with our kids. We would definitely recommend for anyone who has children. more »
Absolutely adorable little museum with lots of fun things to learn (even this adult learned a tidbit or two!) and three floors of fun for the kids. There is also a neat rope course. Lots of interactive exhibits. There is a little shop with fun toys. There is a bathroom on floor 1 and 3. Lots of places to sit. A enclosed play area for the wee ones. A live bee hive and reptile farm. Fun spot you can pull a whole bubble over your head. And most importantly - a penny machine! The machine is against the wall behind the register and has 4 designs. Cost is 50c plus the penny.
This is a small museum but oh so fun! We loved the bubble maker, the kitchen where you shop for groceries and take them to the stove to cook, and the station where you balance on the platforms! You can do it all in 1 day and its inexpensive! Good job Terre Haute!
