It’s a cultural center with relics from the Acadian past. You can tour the entire space in under 10 minutes for free. The gift shop has local books and memorabilia. A nice visit to learn local history.

Pleasant, well laid out museum which gives a great history of the Acadian/Cajun people in Louisiana. The available boat ride is also interesting and a good way to gain additional knowledge of the local area.
