The Thomas County Courthouse is an historic government building built in 1858 and located on North Broad Street in Thomasville, Georgia, the seat of Thomas County. It was designed by architect John Wind.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 22, 1970.

It is also a contributing building in the NRHP-listed Thomasville Commercial Historic District.

  • We had parked in town and it was a very short walk (5 minutes) to the courthouse. It’s on its own square plot and the architecture is great. Very nice to see.

  • Thomasville has done an excellent preserving their past. We had a great time there. A good long weekend trip. The courthouse is exception. Grand old architecture.

  • I went to Thomasville from Winston-Salem North Carolina to make my family sites land gravesites and school my father attended historical in Pattern Community Called Little Egypt my grandfather Leroy Safford name is well known however the courthouse itself is historical and its amazing structure my business was downstairs and the customer care the employees gives is very positive and encouraging thank you and i hope to come back to finish up our family business. I am the grandson of the late Leroy Safford.
