  • This hidden gem is a great place to enjoy nature's beauty. It can get chilly down there so take a light jacket. The hike back up can be a challenge so save some energy for that!  more »
  • This is a beautiful hike. There are some strenuous spots - be prepared for some steep up/down hills. The falls were lovely. Parking was easy and located nearby. Dog friendly.  more »

  • Good for a short hike. Has long flat trails with some short elevations. It was cool to see a waterfall at the end. We stretched the hike to include the lizard rock. It was amazing. Very long hike and mostly uphill. The rock is at the top and just before reaching you can take the trail back to the parking area. Awesome to spend weekend mornings.
  • Paradise Falls is beautiful! It's a romantic spot. But it's also a spot where a person can just sit and rest. It's a little hard to get to if you are old, like me. I am 58 and it took me 45 minutes each way. Be sure to wear hiking shoes, not sneakers or sandals. The path is VERY slippery! And even so, be prepared to get your feet soaking wet. It's safe. There's no crime in the area. So you can go when it's dark. But it's a pleasant trek and a beautiful spot! I strongly recommend visiting this spot, preferably with a picnic basket if you have a couple of hours to spare.
