  • Stopped in to check it out and were pleasantly surprised by the great dry wines they have, especialy the reds. Though cold outside it was very nice inside with a fireplace and comfortable seating...  more »
  • This winery was not quite as good as some we have visited in Maryland. The outside areas were lacking for sitting around and relaxing. The wines were good, but not great, at least for our tastes...  more »
  • We had a lovely experience at Catoctin Breeze this weekend! Awesome outside area with picnic tables (and umbrellas!) And dog friendly is always a plus for us, the owner even went out of her way to bring us a large water bowl for our girls, very sweet! Wine was delicious and reasonably priced. Lovingly cared for landscaping makes you feel right at home as well. We will definitely be back!
  • Just ok. This winery has so much potential!! There's a lot of beauty here, but it was ruined by disinterested staff and not very good wine. I am not a wine connoisseur by any means, but I like what I like and I didn't care for any of their tasting wines. Not even enough to buy a glass. Leah did our tasting and she was ok. Not very personable, to be honest. We all have our off-days so maybe we caught her on one. I hope! She seemed very disinterested. She definitely had two personalities going on, one for us and a nicer more comfortable one for her Co-workers. I wanted comfortable Leah, not Leah reading off the tasting menu. When we left, we said "goodbye" and she didn't even respondčśĽ. Bottom line is I didn't really like the wine, so I doubt I'll go back. Red Heifer is where it's at for me.
