The Loys Station Covered Bridge is a multiple king post wooden covered bridge near Thurmont, Maryland. The bridge was burned by an arsonist in 1991 and rebuilt using surviving framing. The original bridge spanned 90 feet in one span, but has since been modified with a pier at the middle of the span. It was interesting to see a covered bridge and to drive across it as a one lane passage. There is a small park right there also that is good for a picnic.

It's a nice, maintained bridge that's still in use located next to a little park .

Small but sweet park. Cute playground, restrooms, paved walking trail to small island with close-up view of covered bridge. There is access to Owen's Creek from both sides of the bridge.
