    We are so happy that they have some first come, first served sites. All the other State parks are reservation only and we don't like this as we don't like to plan our vacation around a reservation...

    Fished and Kayaked here 9/19/20. Lake water level was lower than it used to be, but there was still plenty of water to enjoy. It may be low, but it was certainty still bigger than alot of water in...

    The lake has been drained for maintenance on the dam. So the campgrounds are amazing empty. Dry camping is $10 with showers daily. Simply awesome.

    Very clean and quite. Smallest of the NM State Parks I have stayed at. Park Host was either gone or uninterested in interacting with the campers in the area. Beautiful views and park was clean. Water level is extremely low.
