  • I read about this place before we left on our trip. It is very close to where we stayed in Clayton, by Lake Burton. I have 3 daughter's that LOVE animals. They are teens and one is an adult. So I.....  more »

  • The legendary tale of Goats on the Roof might leave you with more questions than answers, but there are goats on the roof. Stop and feed these goats by method of bike, hand crank, or good ole out of the palm. If you enjoy goats, you're going to love this place. Everyone was super friendly and there's a playground for kids. If you're driving by, absolutely stop and check this strange little place out, if nothing more than to support goats living on a roof.
  • We stopped here as a return visit, as we always do when in the area. Let me just say the for being aliens, the goats are super friendly, and look to be well loved and cared for. My daughter has even given a few of them new names! The staff is very helpful and friendly. The amount of goat food you get for $1.00 leaves one to wonder how they can afford to keep buying the food. It will keep you happily feeding the goats for quite a while. My daughter and I both enjoy the myriad of engineered ways of getting the food to the goats. I also tried the fudge this trip, and must say, the pumpkin pie fudge balls were high quality, great tasting, and reasonably priced. I will continue to stop in every time that we are in the area. Oh, and the story of the goats is quite original and very funny.
