  • Ran the Boy Scout/hiking trail today and was reminded how diverse this area and metropark is. The trail is in pretty good shape with some detours due to pine tree maintenance in a couple of areas so it's not quite 15.5mi right now. The low areas were a little muddy but everything is marked well and I probably only saw 10 people the entire time on arguably the nicest weather day of the summer.

A good selection of obstacles, and terrain on the trails connecting them. A fair amount of elevation change, but nothing crazy. Definitely worth checking out.
