Allen Street, Tombstone

4.1
#5 of 34 in Things to do in Tombstone
Historic Site · Landmark
The site of the gunfight at the O.K. Corral, Allen Street still harbors the spirit of the Old West. During Tombstone's golden days, the street was the city's entertainment and commerce hub. The street's saloons and shops were frequented by prospectors and gunslingers, and the Earp brothers kept an eye on wrongdoers. Today many of the historical attractions are either preserved or reconstructed. You can see reenactments of everyday life and historical events, or take a guided tour and learn about the street's thrilling and sinister past. Visiting the street is free, but an admission fee is required for certain attractions. Arrange to visit Allen Street and other attractions in Tombstone using our Tombstone planner.

  • So much to do on Allen Street. We did not have enough time to visit all the locations, so we will be back next year.  more »
  • Fun historic street. Lots of western characters. Got there late and left the next morning so didnt get yo see the shops. Several restaurants and saloons gave it 1800s feel.  more »
