  • Wonderful experience. A bear walked in front of our horse and we were able to take great photos. Marvin our driver was a great historian and funny as well.

  • Great place, amazing kind staff, great serene space to enjoy some of the Smoky’s. We had a group on horses and a small group on the carriage. The horse ride is pretty slow (which was fine for us), the horses are well trained and know exactly where to go! The carriage ride was slow and peaceful, and the kids can help lead the horse! It was a fun experience, highly recommend. And bring cash for tipping your guides, they’re fantastic!
  • Want a horse back riding experience that exceeds expectations? Look no further. Cades Cove Riding Stables provided an amazing trail ride experience! We took our 8 year old son for his first trail ride. The staff were awesome with him, introducing him to the horses, talking with him about horses, and ensuring he was ready for the ride. The made sure he had a great time from start to finish. The 3-mile trail ride provided a great opportunity to see and enjoy nature and wildlife in the Smokey Mountains. The ride has a variety of terrain, including a water crossing, and the guides and horses navigate it all with experience, making it a great experience for everyone. By far the best value for a trail ride we’ve found, and definitely a place we’ll visit again.
