  • Sept. 2019 - closed for significant repairs. Reopens in 2020. San Solomon Springs is heaven on Earth. I'm excited to see the renovations and for the park to fully open to the public. If you can stay in the adobe hotels you should totally do it. Camping is great too but bring your own shade. The pool is crisp and clear. Same temperature year-round. Bring some goggles to really see the bottom. Be sure to hit the high dive. Park is from the 30's and built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. They are crazy busy all summer be sure to reserve your tickets in advance. They have a daily headcount and you can't sit on the highway shoulder and wait to get in.
  • Absolutely beautiful! It's really neat to swim with the fish, the kids loved it. Nice and cool water during a hot summer Texas day. Only $7 each for those 12 and up! Under 12 is free! Nice high diving board and it goes to 20+ ft deep. Also a nice shallow end for the kids. Plenty of room and only a select number of guests so no worries of overcrowding! But make sure you reverse a spot online at least a week or two in advance. A must see place for the whole family.
