quality apples as well as other fruit superior in taste and texture to
that available in the grocery store. Attending to details overlooked by
others in their orchards and picking at peak flavor, rather than allowing
apples to ripen in storage, allows us to provide you the best tasting apple
possible. We strive to provide our customers with quality and service they
can find nowhere else by offering samples, recipes and suggestions.
We, in addition to growing our wonderful apples, make delicious, fresh baked goods, our own fresh apple cider, fudge, caramel apples and much more. At the barn you are welcome to sample apples, fudge and ice-cream. You can go visit the animals at the Old McDonald's Farm animal exhibit, or enjoy a cider slush as you enjoy our beautiful Woodland Gardens.

It was Friday so my daughter and 24 year old granddaughter. I hoped it would not be busy. No such luck. The line in the store was wrapped completely around the interior. There was no line for getting.... more »

My favorite place for family fun. Most people don't know this, but The Apple Works is actually open all through the summer. There's still lots of good produce in the store (Not apples so much because they aren't in season during the summer) and lots of fun to be had outside- and way less traffic! No more bumping elbows with other customers! Also the best advice I can give you is to be open to trying all kinds of apples here, branch out from Honey Crisp and Gala. There's always something better to be had!
This was my first visit to Apple Works in Trafalgar Indiana. I had seen an ad on their Facebook page about their Blackberry Blowout. I was very surprised when I arrived. This is more than just a roadside produce stand. They have walking trails, a petting zoo and lots of fresh and preserved produce, baked items, ice cream and fudge. I was lucky enough to be there to buy one of their last pints of blackberries today and I'm glad I did, they're great. This is a nice stop for kids and with all the food and picnic spots and playgrounds available could be a good place for families with kids to spend the afternoon.
