Copperhead Mountain Distillery, Travelers Rest

This place is perfect if you want a distillery tour! It is a family business so you have to book ahead “so they know how much chili to make.” Everything there is amazing and we left with several bottles after our tour. They walk you through the whole process in a well thought out and displayed tour. You get to taste so many foods made with their products - such as the chili! And they basically let you taste as many of their different moonshines as you want. We loved being able to make an informed decision at the end of the tour of what to buy. Everyone working that day was so friendly and we got an amazing, personalized experience. We recommend anyone coming into town that wants a taste of the dark corner to GO HERE!

We enjoyed our visit and the relaxed, engaging and informative way that John led us through our tasting. A tasty, very well-crafted product line, and a pleasant family run craft distillery. Highly recommend.
