  • Neat place to visit! The furthest point on the mission peninsula, right at the water's edge. Great walking trails, and an old cabin, representing what folks would have lived in back then. Fun little.....  more »
  • The lighthouse was a very neat place to visit. It was a lot smaller than I would have thought. They have a gift shop inside, which is free to visit, as well as the ability to go to the top of the lighthouse. This part does cost, but at $5 I had no problem paying that. I didn't go to the top, but my daughter did, and you can see 360° around. She took some very cool pictures of the lake. The only downside to our visit were the deer flies. They were biting constantly. It got so bad, the wife had to leave the beach to get away from them. I would recommend the drive up.
  • This location is very beautiful. The lighthouse itself sits perfectly at the edge where the trees meet the sand. There is no bad place for a photo. Though this is a tourist destination, it was very heavily trafficked. Such a great quick spot.
