  This is the start of a nice uphill climb to take in views from Trinidad Head. Path winds through hedges with occasional vistas. A good leg stretcher.  more »

  Stop to check on the lighthouse but it was closed so did the Trinidad Head trail (Lighthouse trail) and didn't regret it. Really nice walk with beautiful views of the ocean. Easy trail. nothing...  more »

  Kind of an enchanted area in my memory, I visited here in my youth and for some reason I always equated this place with the 70's song "Brandy" by Looking glass. Foggy, a few seagulls, nice people, and a generally ethereal vibe that embodies northern California, this place and the surrounding areas are California Magic.

  We visited on Memorial Day. Unfortunately, our area has a tendency to be very gray and cloudy on holidays! The beach is pretty and there is some decent walkways if you want to do some hiking. There's actually two beach area you can visit: the north side is larger but with rougher waters and the south side is much calmer but a smaller area. Be very careful with children due to riptides and sneaker waves!
