We were visiting mid week in March, so didn't find parking a problem. I agree with other reviewers that there is certainly more room for turning around at the far end of the car park, where you will.... more

The view of the Columbia River from this viewpoint is breathtaking. I highly recommend coming here at sunrise or sunset. There is plenty of parking and it is way less crowded than the observatory. Bring your camera, a blanket, and curl up as you begin or end a perfect day here.

The view from this point is incredible! You can see the Columbia River clearly and also the Vista House perched on the cliff in the distance. This is a wonderful view at any time of the day, but back especially in the evening when the sun is going down.
