I thought this was a perfect afternoon outing. We are of retirement age and we were easily able to navigate to view the falls. Now if you want to go down to the water it is a little more difficult...

Huge waterfall! The falls is very close to the road pull-offs, so you do not need to trek far. Be warned, if you have going kids this may not be an ideal place. There are no railings and the ledge is a looonnggggg drop. Otherwise, the park is beautiful. If you're looking to swim head up to the Jay Branch River for some nice spots and much smaller waterfalls. :)
