  • This is a great beach to get a complete view of the Lake. You need a pass to get in here, so you need to stay in a house with a pass. Very popular with families who stay the whole day as it is...

  • Well it was shut down on my winter visit, but I could still stop by and admire the splendid view of the mountains and the lake. You need a pass in the summer to use the beach.

  • Unfortunately we came when the snow was still on the beach. Bathrooms and trash bins weren’t accessible because of the snow blocking up the way to them. We did play in the snow for a bit. while we came all this way to enjoy the lake view. We made the most of it and took some photos of the site. We’ll have to come again when the snow is cleared up.
  • I was intrigued by this lake just coming out of Truckee, there was this beautiful placid mirror lake surrounded by pine trees and bedded between mountains on all sides. I had to get off and see it. I had to touch it and take it all in. A kind gentlemen gave us a snow sled. We definitely had fun with it. I was surprised how high the snow was off the ground, i was surprised how clean the lake was, i could see each grain of beach sand below the water. The houses, the shacks and restaurants all had a swiss chalet vibe. I would love to experience this in the summertime.
