  • This museum is getting back on its feet after being closed for two years due to the pandemic, and some of the exhibits and especially the nature trail behind it need a bunch of TLC. But the admission is free, the staff friendly, and the exhibits are fair to very good. Very nice display of artillery shells from the War Between the States. Good over view of the local history of Tunica County and the surrounding areas. The museum is still running on a reduced schedule: it is now only open Thurs. Fri. & Sat. 9A.M.-4P.M., but the lady who runs it tells me that by May they hope to have everything back in ship shape and expand the number of days that they will be open. It's definitely worth a visit if you are a local or from the surrounding area and want to learn some things about the area's history.
  • My very own home town. I'm sort of a history buff so I really enjoyed learning about my town's history. Also I got to see my father and uncle name as remembered soldiers.
