My family loves the North Shore and Gooseberry Falls is frequently on our list of stops to make when we go up. We've seen it in all of its Spring glory, high summer, in the fall and this was the first time we made it in the winter. It was amazing to walk out on top of the falls and have a completely different perspective. This is a well-maintained park with great trails, a beautiful visitor center with some informative displays around the geology, flora and fauna of the area. There is a cute gift shop in the visitor center as well. We've never camped here but have enjoyed a lot of the hikes.

Wonderful spot during any season. The waterfalls are always impressive. Was fun to visit during some of the ice melt and see the falls through sheets of ice. A switchback ramp or stairs can take you to the lower falls, a paved path also goes to the upper falls. Both are a short walk from a visitor center that has a small gift shop and bathroom facilities.
