  • We were there for an afternoon in late March and it was a clear sunny day. It was wonderful day but unless you love cold wind that is surprisingly strong I would recommend a little later in the year.....  more »
  • Everyone swears by The Ridges Sanctuary in Door County. But few people know that unique glacial feature - alternation of swales and ridges left by retreating glacial lake - could be seen much closer.....  more »

  • Probably one of my favorite parks in Wisconsin. There's a bit of everything here but the beaches and lakefront exploring areas are beautiful. I loved the lighthouse and just waking the sandy beaches. There's also camping and hiking trails here. So much to enjoy and explore!
  • Very clean park and amazing concessions! The breakfast will blow your mind and the views are breathtaking. The campsites are very wooded so chose wisely and bring a fogger but the location is well worth it!
