Family-friendly beach with lots of shells. The sand is not very soft and the tide will quickly rise near sunset, but the ocean is nice and warm. Lifeguard on site and not very crowded. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing day at the beach!

Tybee is one of my favorite places in the world, for very good reason. Beauty is abundant all around you, local establishments are clean with friendly staff and the beaches are absolutely amazing. Such an incredible place!!
