    Off the beaten path, awesome adventure. The drive is a classic windy road, which narrows, then becomes one lane. Parking lot entrance off from where Google Maps said it would be but it is well marked (coming from 101 just keep on going). Steep incline at the beginning of the trail head...but an amazing grove. Simple loop, rustic trail, pretty well marked.

    If you're in the area and don't want to drive up to Humboldt, this is a great place to see some of the first generation growths. There is a tree we seen that is hollow as far up as you can see! It is incredible. A very special place.
