  • This is a great historic site to learn about paleontology. Lots of parking. The visitor center has some wonderful exhibits, one being a very large mastodon skull. Fossils of several kinds are here...

  • This was a stop on our road trip to the Great Smoky Mountains. We ate at the picnic area, then checked out the museum (mask required and they will provide them for you), diorama pit, and bison herd...

  • Nice place, lots are decent size and the staff is friendly. Gravel area next to the pads are great I would give 5 stars but the pads are uneven and may make it a challenge to level your rig and or make it unsafe to step out of your camper. My site was great but others not so. Some sites required two hoses to hook up to the water supply and there were no full hook ups. I will camp there again now that I know what to expect.
  • Great park, very clean but bring extra leveling blocks and 2 fresh water hoses. This was the largest L to R discrepancy in any park I've been to. We had to raise the passenger side 5". I also saw several sites with a huge front to back difference. One guy's rig was raised so high i could almost walk under the tongue of his trailer (definitely an exaggeration but it was up there). I had a 100 ft fresh water hose and it wasn't long enough, luckily I've experienced this before and had an extra hose. Very cool seeing the bison and there are plenty of hiking trails. I gave only 4 stars for the REALLY uneven sites.
