Matthiessen State Park, Utica

An incredible experience, amazing place to visit and truly worth the driving. A lot of amazing nature scenes. Different kinds of trees and plants, wonderful water fall , the huge rocks and caves and the trees climbing over the rocks. Down hill where you can enjoy taking pictures in front of the water fall but caution as it s slippery and easily anyone can fall in the water, it s not deep but I would recommend another pair of socks and shoes . This place has plenty of stairs going up and down so if anyone can’t use stairs, this place will be so difficult then. Enjoyed a lot the freshness of the air , the variety of birds and the beauty of the nature. Free admission and closed by sunset

Beautiful beyond words! I cannot wait for spring/summer to come hiking. I love that they have the easy and hard way to do these trails. So much fun and so peaceful and beautiful. Wow. Waterfalls are amazing 😍
