  • Great view, good times, good wine. It’s just a short drive from the North East side of Tucson. Go for the wine and the view and enjoy a nice afternoon! Dog friendly as well. VictorB  more »

  • This a beautiful, small, family vineyard that touts that it is the oldest in Arizona. It is a very personal, family oriented experience, with the owners living onsite just next to the tasting room as you “share’” their porch for outdoor wine and snacks. The views are amazing, as it is set in the Vail, AZ Santa Rita mountains. We chose the tasting option ($10 for your choice of six wines from the menu) and the Meat & Cheese “picnic basket” for two ($22 box lunch concept with individually packaged cheeses, crackers, bread sticks, olives, chocolate wafer, nuts, and your choice of Boars Head salami or prosciutto). It is a very casual experience with the paper box, paper plates, plastic cutlery, and little packages inside the box that you have to open yourself. The wines are made from grapes grown on property or in partnership with another nearby vineyard. They range from ok to good, and are not bad but not exceptional. Sipping wine as you look out over the amazing view, however, is a lovely way to spend an evening. Bring your Jeep,or be prepared for the bumpy little dirt road that takes you off the highway and back in the mountains. Beautiful but bumpy! We lost a hub cap!
