    Visited here while on a Heli Ski trip with Black Ops Valdez. Watched some people ice climbing from the parking area. Tempted to give it a try.

    It's beautiful canyon with few nice waterfalls. The most spectacular in my opinion is the Horse Tail Waterfall. I saw it during the rainy and cloudy day and also during a sunny one. The difference...

    I was traveling in a broken down Ford explorer that only went 45 miles and hour.....this was by far the most beautiful part of ak highway that I saw....I travel the entire ak highway though.....dangerous though.....avalanches...and wrecks everywhere and evil kenevil bike clubs out there
