The 52-acre Medal of Honor Grove is a living memorial to celebrate the lives and achievements of the recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor. An acre of woodland is designated for each of the fifty states and Washington, DC and Puerto Rico, each centered on a brick square and obelisk. Trails allow visitors to walk through the Grove viewing names of recipients dating back to the Civil War.

  • Visited my daughter at her week long school trip and the program was well run and engaging. My son went last year and I now know why we was so enamored with the Declaration of Independence. The grounds of Freedom Foundation and their is an entire park of Medal of Honor memorials, one for each state.
  • This place is a hidden gem. This should be a go to for memorial days and national holidays. It's a shame it is filled with more community events. I drove from NY to visit
