We had a great time here. It’s a cheap and educational experience where we walked around to see different birds and also watched one of their daily shows. I highly recommend.

Well worth the $8 for parking. We visited here with our kids and stayed almost 2 hours. The show at the amphitheater was educational and super fun! We got to see several different birds and had a Harris hawk fly just over our heads. The row of enclosures near the hospital also had a variety of birds including a kookaburra, pelicans, bald eagles, emu, barn owls, and quite a few more. Definitely plan to stop in and support the awesome work done here if you are in the St Louis area or driving through!
what a great place with great people doing great work, mostly volunteered for the sake of wild birds and for our own sakes, to be aware $8 donation fee, ...to see a very nice display and learn a little about birds all within this tranquil park setting is not something I'd expect to be free unless it was paid for by taxpayers? I don't think it's necessary for them to apologize to me as a member of the public, chipping in 8 bucks is the least I could do to help them... and it's a bargain. 10 years ago in Pure Michigan it cost us $10 to park on a public lot and $6 more to enter the beach, in Alabama it cost us $20 to walk out on public a pier.... ever visit a National Park, Disneyland, or just try to find a place to park close by?
