T. Mabry Carlton, Jr. Memorial Reserve, also known as the Carlton Reserve, is a 24,565-acre (9,941 ha) preserve in Sarasota County, Florida. The reserve has 100 miles (160 km) of hiking, equestrian and biking trails.

  • We have taken the family here numerous times. We enjoy seeing all of the wildlife, such as raccoons, deer, snakes, gators, birds, reptiles, and bugs. We have never had a dull trip to the preserve and....  more »
  • This reserve is huge, over 100 miles of trails, but the main used ones are in and around the parking lot. The Go Bold trail is a challenge for mountain bikes and good for hiking under the tall pine...  more »
