This was great before the fire and it's even better after! The new stone work and paths made after the fire are beautiful. The numerous benches and inspirational quotes from the donors are lovely and perfectly placed to enjoy the gorgeous views from the hillside. Even though the plants have not grown back yet, it's still beautiful and a really nice hike. It will be amazing when the plants come back. The new welcome center with a bathroom is a great upgrade to the old space. There is now a fee to get in but it is well worth the price because this place is very special and the fee goes directly to keeping it alive and thriving.
I love the trails. Has always been a beautiful place, you stand up on top of the Mountain in Ventura and look to the west. You can see the city with the Mission all out towards the wharf to the sea! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets that are magical!
