Dinosaur River Expeditions, Vernal

My family (all 25 of us) went on the 3 day trip with Dinosaur River Expeditions and we all THOROUGHLY enjoyed it! The guides were the perfect mix of friendly, professional, entertaining, and EXTREMELY hard working! Everything this group did helped our family have such a good time. Honestly, I couldn't recommend this group any more highly! The owner, Ty, and his wife are legends in the area river rafting and they have found some high caliber people to work with them. Our river guides were Randy, Travis, Riggs, and Peyton, and we loved all of them! Also, the views of Flaming Gorge are SPECTACULAR!!!! We saw breathtaking scenes and a variety of birds, wildlife and bugs.

My family and I just returned from a rafting trip with Dinosaur. The trip was super and will rate in the top of the list of our vacations, we travel a lot so this is the top of a very long list. My husband and I loved that it was such a relaxing trip, we got up in the opening coffee was ready first, breakfasts were delicious French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and lots of other options. Then we headed to the river and floated through awesome scenery with the occasional rapid adding some excitement each day. We were on the family trip so the rapids were not too challenging. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and knew the river very well. Our trip leader was excellent it was obvious she had many years of experience and could manage anything that occurred on or off the river. The rest of our meals were excellent, food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. I am inspired to improve my camping cooking after the trip. Steak fajitas, pork chop, grilled chicken, veggie options were excellent too. Desserts were also wonderful, a chocolate mousse cheesecake was the highlight for my family. I absolutely would go again and would recommend Dinosaur to anyone wanting to go rafting in Utah.
