We love A1A beaches because there are so many hidden away. We look for the brown signs and turn in. If the parking lot is fairly empty, we park. We're very glad we did when we got to Golden Sands...

BEAUTIFUL and quiet beach. It costs $2 to park but it's money well spend just for the shower alone. The park was super clean as I only found 2 gum wrappers on a ½ mile stretch. I saw maybe 5 people for the hour I was there on a late Saturday afternoon. The bathroom is a typical run down facility, but it was well stocked and as clean as an older place can be. I definitely recommend this park for a perfect day in the water.

Free parking and restrooms make this a good destination for the beach. I brought my bike and rode the bike lane to Sebastian Inlet State Park. Then changed into swimsuit for the beach. Great day!
