They are open daily except for major holidays and ice; an admission fee is charged. Garden admissions end when the Visitor Center closes. The Visitor Center is open from 10AM until 3:30PM from November through March and from April through October 10AM until 6:30PM. Meadowlark Botanical Gardens closes 30 minutes after the Visitor Center's posted closing. The property is protected and operated by the NOVA Parks agency of Northern Virginia.

The place exudes serenity and peace with good vibes all around. A heavenly walk through beautifully kept gardens with a splash of cultural ethnic diversity in the form of Korean art and architecture, Japanese Koi pond, and colonial artifacts. Nice trail too. A perfect place for a picnic and a book. Absolutely gorgeous and worth the $6 admission for adults.

A serene spot and admission is only $6 for the day. They did note that you can't bring in outside food so I guess picnics aren't allowed? But this is a great spot to walk around and enjoy the beautiful plants and flowers, spend time with loved ones, or read a book
