Mount Trashmore Park Reviews
Despite the name, this park is beautiful. Well-kept grounds and a beautiful view from the top of the hill. more »
This re-purposed landfill was turned into a city park in 1974. It boasts over four miles of hiking trails, covered picnic areas, two lakes and a playground. Definitely a cool place to check out. more »
First time visitor. Can see why my daughter likes to go to watch fireworks. Loved seeing the swings and other structures designed for children!!! Only problem I can envision is the traffic getting in/out on certain days. Other than that, is a great place to chill.
So big. Lots of area to relax. Kids playground was spacious enough for the adults to get on it with the kids. It was really hot so it would have been better if there were more picnic areas that were covered as there were so many families and not enough space for people to be in the shade. Still a great place. My son is begging to go back!
