Starr is amazing. We went on a tasting tour with over 20 people in our group and she answered every question we had . She was knowledgeable about the bourbon, which is exceptional, and the moonshine and the gin. The gin here should not be missed. I usually don’t go for a rye but the bourbon here is very rye heavy and as good as any bourbon I’ve tried. It has changed my mind about high rye bourbons. Starr is a true brand ambassador. As a bourbon fan, I really appreciate the details I picked up on the tour. I’m a fan for life now. Thanks Starr!

I have done a lot of distillery tours in the past several years, and they all vary drastically. Tarnished Truth is a small time operations distillery, but it’s the people and the history behind it that make it a wonderful distillery. Everything is bottled and labeled by hand, and you can only pickup a bottle in the state of Virginia. Our tour guide was very friendly and made our tour fun. Their products are all very good, and if you have an opportunity, go have a smoked old fashioned in The Hunt Room next door, made with their 3-year Tarnished Truth bourbon. All their products were great!
