Such a great museum! We spent almost two hours here, which was quite the win with a 7 and 8yo. So many interactive exhibits that really grabbed the kids’ attention and brought local history to life. The kids’ play area was also great. The augmented reality sandbox was the favorite, with the phone operator exhibit a close second. We will be back!

We were able to visit during a First Friday evening. Top notch museum for a town this size! We enjoyed learning about the canal and railroad history. Nicely laid out and lots of hands-on things to do-would be enjoyable for children and adults.
