  • This is a small, but enjoyable zoo. Anyone who enjoys looking at animals will find almost all of their zoo favorites here: lions, tigers, bears, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, moneys, snakes and more...  more »
  • Not the largest animal collection, but the setting is amazing! Lots of trees and great trails - well shaded with lots of water settings. We did not have young children with us, but they had several...  more »

  • This zoo is very well maintained. The property is beautiful and the grounds are clean. It’s very shaded and the zoo isn’t too big but it isn’t too small. It’s just enough for a few hours of fun. The animals are well fed and have clean water and clean cages. There’s also two of every animal so no one get lonely. The exhibits are close enough to see but protected enough where no one will get hurt. The inside exhibits are air conditioned as well so you get a little break from the heat. All in all this is a very cute zoo and we will be back again!
  • For a city the size of Waco, this zoo exceeds expectations. The variety and size of exhibits is great. It takes about 2-2.5 hours for my kids and I to get through. They have a lovely playground with a splash pad. There's lots of shade as you walk through and also two air conditioned aquariums. We've gone throughout the year and there's always a great selection of animals out.
