A very nice museum with 2 main sections. There's one side with lots of fossils, natural history, Waco history, artifacts, and an introduction to the Mammoth National Monument. Lots of exhibits to see. On our visit, they had a children's exhibit about superheroes with lots of interactive things to test physical skills, solve puzzles, and explore. The other side of the museum is all for kids with hands-on exploration of lights and sounds, playing with bubbles, science, and more. The little kids will really enjoy this place.

All hands up one of the best things to do with a child 7 y old. We went with low expectations but spent here all day. Loved all the exhibition's, they are simple enough for children and fun also. From dinosaurs to trains, electricity and music. WC clean, water fountain on site, coffee in a gift shop was adequate (not best but as a morning coffee can do), some snacks there also. And the whole place is huge, two floors and a lot of rooms. We had really a great time and it is worth every penny.
