  • Small but worth the visit! It is much bigger than what is shown in the picture I took. We sat on the county courthouse steps to eat our corn quesadillas.  more »

  • I love a good farmers market. It was in a large parking lot downtown and had live music playing. I took my kids with me and it wasn't over crowded and there were enough picnic tables to sit and enjoy the day. I moved from San Antonio, which probably by far has the best Farmers Market. With that being said, I was a little disappointed in how few vendors they had. I was hoping to find a good local wine, but there were none. I was also hoping to get some fresh fruit, but could only find vegetables. Although, the vegetables that I saw looked so great compared the mass produced ones. I did purchase some jelly and jams from one vendor. I loved the creativity of her flavors and they were good and reasonably priced at $5 a jar. My girls and I got lunch from a taco truck that was also reasonably priced and the food was impeccable! Soo, good and you could watch as they prepared the food. Overall it was good, just wish it had more vendors.
  • For a Farmers Market, there is just not that much produce. Only one stall and the rest is prepared food of some sort. It is better in the spring, but it appears August it is just a market (without the farm)
