I took my mom and my grand-nephew to Wahpeton to show them some of the fun stuff we could do for free. This was one of the places we stopped and it was a winner for both of them.

Great area to be able to walk around, look at the Red River and the mini waterfall, some picnic tables, benches and handful of charcoal grills. No restrooms that I could see. Plenty of parking.

Great roadside attraction. Had picnic tables and restrooms and several great photo opportunities. Tip there is a nearby little pier just barely big enough to fit two or three people. But out at the end of the 10ft length you cross the border to Minnesota.
