Commonly referred to as "A-Bay," Anaehoomalu features a wide expanse of soft sand and snorkeling opportunities. You can relax on one of the sun loungers or explore the water by paddleboard or kayak, which are available to rent. A glass bottom-boat trip also departs from the beach. If you take time to explore the area, you'll find it harbors ancient sites, petroglyphs, and rock shelters. Those who need respite from the Hawaiian sun can find plenty of shade under the large palm trees that fringe the bay. Bring a picnic along or grab a bite to eat from the snack shack. • This is a great beach for toddlers! Plenty of parking, bathrooms are clean and convenient. Good shade provided by beautiful palm trees, sea turtles and swimming is fun for all ages. You can walk to the tide pools to observe fishes. It’s a great option for a beach day!
  • Great beach. Water was very calm the few times we visited late July. Not very crowded. palm trees for shade or rent cabanas down by the shack. Easy access to the Marriott where we had lunch.
