Sherwood Beach Reviews
Per raggiungere questa spiaggia bisogna attraversare Sherwood Forest (3 minuti a piedi), il quale dona a questa spiaggia tantissima ombra. Ci sono bagni e spogliatoi, ma non ci sono bagnini. Essendo s... more »To get to this beach you have to cross Sherwood Forest (3 minutes walk), which gives this beach a lot of shade. There are bathrooms and changing rooms, but there are no lifeguards. Being open beach, the waves can be high and complicate bathing. Turquoise water and very few people are points in favor of this beach.
La mia recensione è "leggermente" di parte....in questa spiaggia mi sono sposato quindi sarà per sempre una spiaggia particolare e magica per me! Leaving aside this particular I have to say that Sherwood Beach (which is then one with Waimanalo Beach) is really a beautiful beach, practically deserted for long stretches because it usually has bathrooms, showers and ample parking (almost always empty) and for those looking for a little shade there is a large tree-lined area just close to the sea. I can't say it's obviously very recommended!
This place is beauty and a beast. The turquoise water is beautiful and super IG/snap worthy, although the waves are not for the weak and definitely not for snorkeling. Great place to surf and boogie board. Sand is super soft. It's hidden in a forest , away from main road, perfect area for hanging hammocks. Ideal place for photo shoots and taking super long beach strolls. One of the many beaches that actually has a lifeguard on duty.
Beautiful white sand, and blue water. Parking was not a problem - there was plenty. Kept nice and clean, plenty of bins, and there are bathrooms (not sure how clean - we didn’t use). Gate closes at night (not sure on the time) and reopens early morning. Plenty of shade with trees at the part where grass becomes sand. The waves were awesome when we went (there was also a high surf advisory at the same time though so not sure what it’s like normally), we did loads of body boarding!
