It is part of the St. Cloud Metropolitan Statistical Area.HistoryWaite Park was incorporated in 1893. The city was named for Henry Chester Waite, a state legislator. The racial makeup of the city was 83.6% White, 6.6% African American, 0.7% Native American, 3.6% Asian, 2.7% from other races, and 2.9% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.5% of the population.
