  • We saw a billboard for this zoo while driving through town and had a few hours free so we stopped in. It is way off the beaten path with few signs so just trust your GPS. This is a small family run....  more »
  • Yesterday, we enjoyed an abundance of fun in the sun and learned a lot, too, at the Deyoung Family Zoo! 🦁🐯🐻 It’s hard to believe that this place is just a short drive away from home...  more »

  • First time visit to this a few days ago. I have to say I was very impressed. A beautiful, well maintained facility. This zoo (which feels more like an animal refuge) is situated in a beautiful and isolated slice of nature. The animals reside in large, clean enclosures and appear to be well cared for. The Zoo gives you the opportunity , at times, to be only a few feet from some amazingly and exotic animals. Highly recommend for nature and animal enthusiasts!
  • The best zoo I've been to. They rescue and help wild animals and have daily encounters with the animals. Very informational and up close and personal! You can feed a hippo, hold a baby kangaroo and snake and pet a fox and sloth! Those are just a few to mention. Love the history of this place too. Would highly recommend!
